Adam Tevela (Linsang, F) will always have his share of fans in the Santa Ana area. How could he not, having grown up in Huntington Beach with family and friends? However after this game there may be some fans that decide to defect and become haters after what they witnessed tonight. When the linsang was introduced in the pre-game ceremonies, there were boos and cheers, and the giant screen above the court showed his parents standing at courtside cheering him on. Despite such a positive response, Tevela is a player for the Queens Pride, and just like last season at the Prism Palace, he played like he was determined to embarrass the Santa Ana Spectrums after their general manager famously snubbed him during the 2014 FBA Draft. The Spectrums' Ain Iannizzi (Cougar, F) didn't have much of a counter for him, as Tevela scored a season-high 30 points and pulled down 9 rebounds.

When Yesina Selas (Ruffed Red Lemur, G/F) stepped onto the court, she almost immediately bumped across Tevela's shoulder and there was a moment of hushed tension between the players and even most of the crowd. Thankfully Tevela only responded with a harsh glare at his collegiate archrival and the game moved on. Selas played with sheer determination to one-up her hated rival, scoring 10 points (including twice from the woods) which was her personal best as well thus far this season. However it wasn't even remotely over between the two, as they battled it out over each rebound that came to both of them, swinging out elbows and yelling out frustrated screams whenever a play don't go their way. The most tense moment between the two happened when Selas wasn't even on the court. When Pimwadee Tansiri (Betta Fish, F) collided with Tevela during a play, twisting her ankle, Selas stood up from her bench seat and started screaming out words that cannot be reprinted here. The referees somehow didn't hear her amid the loud booing from the crowd and Selas had to be held back by her teammates as she risked being ejected from the game due to her anger.

Despite Tevela's performance on the court, his team couldn't keep up with the Spectrums and trailed most of the game. The entire bench struggled, providing the Queens Pride only 22 points out of the 101 points total. L.V. McDyess (Black Panther, G) scored 19 and Lee Jin-Sung (Black Bear, F) earned a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, and he was awarded the deserved POTG. After the game, all the players shook paws as is almost obligatory, with the exception of a certain linsang and a certain ruffed lemur, whom blatantly ignored each other as they walked toward their respective locker rooms.
