Connor Caracal (Lynx, born February 1, 1995) is a professional basketball player currently under contract with the Williamsburg Minutemen of the FBA. He's the younger brother of fellow basketball player and 2014 FBA Most Valuable Player Rocky Caracal.

Life was never easy for Connor Caracal. Besides living in the shadow of his brother Rocky, he grew up in the notorious East Vancouver projects, the youngest of seven children.

Connor first pursued hockey at a young age, and his speed and natural athleticism put him on the radar of several junior scouts. It was in high school, however, that his abilities on the basketball court established him as a premier talent. He was offered a scholarship to Underwood College and attended there for 4 years.

If Connor's style was to be described in a single word, it would be versatile. A speedy swingfur who isn't afraid to slash to the net and draw the foul. He may not possess the shooting range or accuracy of his brother, but what he lacks he more than makes up for in defensive acumen and mental toughness. Despite not being the most physical player on the court, he is consistently able to defend his position, and is just lethal on the counterattack.

In essence, it is Connor's versatility that would make him a valuable asset at small forward. With the right supporting cast, many scouts believe he has the potential to even surpass his brother! His decision to finish his senior year before demonstrates a sense of maturity, and sets him apart as one of the more polished prospects this year.

For over a year, the Rocky vs. Connor debate has drawn increased media attention, to the dismay of both Caracals. Rocky has never attended his brothers games, and remains tight-lipped regarding the feud between them. Connor, meanwhile, has deflected all questions regarding the family concerns.

The cause of the estrangement between these two brothers remains a mystery. Some speculate that Connor, an Orthodox Catholic, disapproves of his brother's homosexuality. Others have blamed Rocky for the rift, citing his efforts over the years to distance himself from his impoverished roots. Will the promising rookie and superstar veteran ever reconcile? Only time will tell.

2015-16 Season

Connor was drafted by the Williamsburg Minutemen with the 21st pick in the 2015 FBA Draft after the team had traded for it earlier.
