"Young Mary-Kathryn was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and had pretty much a normal and pleasant childhood. But already at a young age in kindergarten, teachers and her parents sort of knew that there was something special with this kitten. She seemed drawn to be social with others kids, as the others were drawn to be around her, as she seemed to light up the room each time she was coming to school. It would continue all the way true middle school and High school, as O’Hara seemed to be dedicated to take charge everywhere she went. She had everything going for her. She had always good grades, had great looks that made her the envy of every boys in school, and she always took part in the school life. She became president of the student council on several occasions, and organizing all sorts of activities in order to make her school environment a fun place to be. But while many would think that she was the typical popular girl that was untouchable for many others kids, she was far from that. Not only she had the smarts, but she was also very humble and approachable to everyone where ever you where standing on the social food chain. She even started creating a consultation group where she could help others kids that felt that weren’t fitting in order to have a better school experience. “School life can be such a traumatic thing for kids that get constantly bullied. I want to make sure that everyone has a change to have good memories from those days. It’s only fair.” Being such a successful girl while taking care of the “little guys” seemed like an anomaly to some, but seeing how she manage to make everything great around where she went, even as little enemies she might have had, had little ground to stand on.
One other thing that O’Hara took great pride at was sports. Sports was according to her an important part of school life and she made no exception in doing her part on that well. She was not only supervising the cheerleading squad and organizing special promotions, but she was part of the team as well! And she wasn’t too bad either. She has shown incredible leadership skills, as the leading Point guard of the team, helping Charlotte State High School to several successful tournaments wins. Her stunning looks as well of her ability to come through clutch time earned her the nickname “Mary K.O”. Driven by the exciting atmosphere the team success was giving her, she continued to apply herself to her studies, but in her mind she aspired to go even further. “Being in the limelight and amidst all the action and the roars of the crowds such a good adrenalin rush to me, I’m addicted to that. But what I really want and I know I can do it, is to get to the ultimate party, the FBA!” It was with that motivation that she eventually left High School with multiples records, as well of being name one of North Carolina Junior Athletes of the year and also earned a spot on the First all Star American High school team for 2016.
O’hara then goes on, having earned a scholarship in psychology at the Furniversity of Southern California to study in order to one day get her master degree as a Couple therapist. What’s more surprising to many was the fact she decided to take a minor degree in Sexology, which she pretty happy to speak openly about.” There nothing wrong about trying to know more about sexuality. This is an important part in a couple in order to have a healthy relationship. Get your mind out the gutter boys, it isn’t just about sex and porn, even it there nothing wrong with that once and a while!” she quotes. She continued to be a helping hand at college as she offered young couples help and advices free of charge. On the basketball side of teams, she continued to perform on par where she left off at High school, helping FoSC rank 9th seed in the 2016 FCAA March madness tournament, averaging a double-double each game, in terms of Points and assists ( 18,5 pts / 13 assists ) per game. The team managed to get to the Elite 8 until they were eliminated by PredTech of Northern California. Once the year ended, she soon announced that she was “One and done” and committed for the next FBA Draft, having good chances to be picked high as one of the premier Pure Point guard of this year draft and shine just like standouts Ren Inoue and Derek Kim.
