2014-2015 SAS Season Bio

Scott Parsons is probably one of the most chillaxed personalities in the FBA franchise.

A skilled Combo Guard who once led the Edmonton Totems FBA franchise into the 2013-2014 FBA Finals, Scott now plays for the Santa Ana Spectrums as a highly versatile player, often switching between the 1 and 2 Guard position, and occasionally filling in the role of a a Small Forward, making him a Swing Point. He makes for a solid backup to either the dazzling Victor Vos, or the deadly accurate LV McDyess, and despite not often having the starting role, the Costa Mesa (California, U.S.A) native is glad to be back to where the weather agrees with him, and where he can spend time using his surfboard.

This 27 year old corner specialist can often be found along the coastlines of Newport, Seal, Sunset or Huntington Beach, spending his recreational time surfing when away from the basketball courts catching more than just a few waves.

Weighing in at about 220lbs (100kg), his height of 6'5" (196 cm), the otter has a soft muscular build, as opposed to being ripped with extreme definition. While Scott sticks to strict workout regimes and is an avid P90X practitioner, he does enjoy the occasional extra bag of crisps/chips and the extra slice of pizza or two in addition to his diet. Plus, he tends to keep himself well hydrated at all times, which adds up to a softer, approachable and hug-able look that hides some good definition underneath.

The definition isn't just for show either - Parsons is genuinely strong. While he can make his shots from afar, he isn't afraid of some physical play. He's also good at getting towards the basket using his body, bullying smaller Guards in the paint and contending with players larger than himself even.

Parsons isn't a player who's known for a lot of flash, be it in his playstyle or personality - No tattoos, no piercings whatsoever (not to say that he never considered them however). Despite being well-off (side effect of being a professional athlete in a major league), he never let his wealth to get to his head, living in a humble abode near the waters of Huntington Beach, California, and spends much of his free time either in Tustin in the Spectrums' training center, the street ball courts, or surfing - Whatever he does, he enjoys them to the fullest, which leads to an exemplary work ethic from his end.

Outside of surfing and basketball, his hobbies include animated TV shows, like cartoons and anime, and he's known to play video games as well, with a wide variety of tastes - Classic JRPGs, First Person Co-op Shooters, and of course, the FBA 2K series.

It is known that Parsons had hoped to be a professional surfer if he didn't dedicate himself to get into the FBA, and that pro-surfer talk isn't just for show either - he's got the skills to back it up too.
