Biography

Meet Arved Penhall, a street wise small forward quick on the draw with a powerful force on the court unlike any other.

Penhall grew up in a tough inner city neighborhood in Jacksonville to a working class family. Penhall shared a very good relationship with his career oriented mom and dad, both of whom worked hard to support him and his brothers. He learned at an early age to never back down and speak his mind. Despite his tough exterior, Penhall showed respect toward others and stayed true to himself.

Penhall's initial drive to get into basketball emerged during his grade school years. He looked up to the greats of the FBA, particularly Biker warthog Steven Munt for his assertiveness and Spectrums' lion Jefferson Adams for his confidence in the game. He felt inspiration to follow his dream to help do good for his family and his neighborhood. From getting involved in school activities to representing his town in various sporting events and functions, Penhall picked up a lot of tricks to his trade throughout his youth. He is an excellent team player with great knowledge to defense and maneuvering tactics. His antics on the court surprised many who watched him play varsity. With his amazing agility and evasiveness from the opposition, Penhall proved time and again that he was great at what he could do.

Penhall was well liked in high school and college. He was snarky yet ambitious among his peers. Some of his interests off the court include sound mixing and spinning records as a DJ at the school quad. He minored in music and performing arts at FMU. After making a name for himself when he joined the FMU varsity team, Penhall helped guide his crew to victory with 7 consecutive wins during his junior year. He was considered the best forward on his team. A.J. Penhall is now setting his sights on the FBA, ready to take on the titans of the court. Will he prove to them he has what it takes?
